Back in 2018, Kellie Cooper took ownership of Kellie's Cafe Newport and, with the help of her husband Dave, transformed it into a beloved spot for authentic British cuisine. Kellie remained true to her London roots, developing a menu that reflects her life in England, featuring delicious breakfast and lunch options. She worked diligently to build the brand and created her own line of sausages, sausage rolls, and bacon, which we still proudly use and sell in-store today! Kellie's dream was for every customer who walked through the door to experience a little taste of England, both figuratively and literally, from the mouthwatering sausage rolls to the football or London walkabouts on the TV, with a smiling Queen in the corner. The business has steadily grown and continues to enjoy a loyal following and customer base to this day.

Fast forward to 2025! As loyal customers of Kellie's Cafe Newport, we were saddened to hear about their plans to sell and move to Florida. The thought of losing such a special spot filled us with disappointment. We never imagined becoming business owners ourselves, but with the idea of losing the one place that reminded me of home, we gathered what we needed to make the investment and took over the reins in September. It was crucial for us to preserve the charm and deliciousness of the cafe, especially the authentic British cuisine that had hooked me back in 2020. We wanted everyone to experience the same warmth and love for all things British, enjoying breakfast and lunch just as we had.
